My digestive system is truly a medical marvel. Exactly one half hour after I wake up I poop.

Always.

I'm incredibly regular.

I don't use any garbage like Metamucil and I don't eat a lot of vegetables. And it doesn't matter if I wake up at 5:30 AM, 8:45 AM, or noon. One half hour later I will be on the bowl.

It's amazing.

Thank you.

At Mission Control the clock has just past the 30 minute mark... T minus 30 minutes and counting... Astronaut reports its feels good... 23 minutes past the hour, we are 30 minutes away from ignition and blast off... controllers are now looking over several 'red line' values that need to be checked before the countdown reaches zero... 30 minutes and counting ... 30 minutes until blastoff...

It used to be when I walked out for my third smoke, with my second cup of coffee, my return would be right to the bathroom at exactly 9:30 AM. Since I quit smoking I am all over the map. I envy your regularity GVAC.

Hmmm, but what is your transit time (the time it takes for you to eat something and then poo it out)?? You should eat a beet and find out. When the water in the bowl is pink it means you're pooing out the beet. Should be between 12-24 hours. 36 hrs isn't horrible, but if you're truly regular it should be around 24.

While we're on the subject: I come across a lot of guys who think that because they've just eaten something, say greasy or heavy, and they immediately have a violent poo, think that they're pooing out what they just ate. I've had to pull out my nutrition books many times and show these guys the highlighted part where it says it takes 12-24 hrs for something to cycle through your digestive system. Just thought I'd clear that up for anyone on the board who was under the same impression.

Working in health food stores everyone's drawn to the section or category that interests them most and just naturally want to learn more about it. Some people choose sports nutrition, or cosmetics... For me it's the cleansing/fiber section. So yes, I know a lot about poo. I enjoy talking about it too.

Nothing in this world can make you feel lighter and healthier than a good colon cleanse. It's a good thing to do before you start any vitamin/supplement plan. If your digestive system isn't working properly you're probably not going to break down nutrients from food, or vitamins or supplements efficiently. Also, the average person has so much waste in their digestive system just sitting there that causes so much intestinal discomfort (gas, bloating, feeling of fullness or heaviness) that once that gets cleared out you might actually weigh less, and would definitely feel lighter and cleaner. When your body can pull more nutrients out of your food and utilize them properly you'll feel more energy and your immune system will improve. Cleanse your colon, people!... at least once a year. I do a mini-cleanse once a quarter because I've gotten to the point where I just feel the difference and know I need to do it.

phhhhhht...(farty sound my friend makes whenever I talk about colon cleansing)
