I need a 48 hour buffer between listening to boring ramble about war, politics and/or government. Between the non-stop idiotic rambling of Jesse Ventura...and now Phil Donahue.... We know it is bad. We know it has to end. and I hope all of the money being made for this film are going towards the main focus's medical bills and veterans of war.

I just want to hear Ronny's one liners. Yawn......................

Is this THE Phil Donahue?

yea...he was on Hannity and C last night

I don't know if you are serious, but he always speaks quietly.

if you don't get him, just turn off for a while.

nope, I love it when the rich try to talk for the regular working man, hillarious

I am shocked that you would agree with his views:wacko:

I don't agree with all of his views, but even republicans acknowledge that the invasion was mishandled.

Moreover, he's also talking about soliders who once wounded are gettnig the help they need from the country they fought to protect. That should be something we should all be outraged about, especially those who were for invasion.

Why is he talking like that? Does he think its for emphasis, what a fucking dick. just throwing out rich out of touch ideas. Send your kids hollywood asshole

Donahue has had the same delivery for the past thirty years. Just because he holds a discussion and doesn't read off of a talking points sheet, doesn't mean he doesn't have a point-of-view that isn't worth listening to.

Why would anyone reading this thread or listening to this station be outraged about anything. Moments ago we were all making fun of eating aborted fetuses as if they were scrambled eggs. Why would we now give a fuck about some soldier in a wheel chair getting fucked out of healthcare. This isn't gonna shock us, we aren't gonna be outraged, and all anyone is going to do is complain that we should be.

Not really apples to apples. You're comparing an actor whose mother owned a hugely popular comedy club, but was able to parlay that into a small career, to a guy whose rose up in the ranks of television broadcasting to become one of the most successful people in his industry of all time.

To become that successful requires hard work.

I genuinely feel sorry for the soldiers who enlisted out of some sense of patriotic duty, but I've known too many asshats who basically chucked their life at Uncle Sam as if to say "Here, maybe you can make some sense of this cluster F, cause I'm lost." to lump them in with those true patriots. Sometimes when you make your bed, you are made to sleep in it and when you put yourself in a situation in which white haired men thousands of miles away are directing your life, well, you signed away your right to bitch about it.

That being said, veterans absolutely need to be supported after service, regardless of their motives for enlisting. I just sometimes scratch my head at the pedestal we put some of these people on.

Just sayin. Now flame on.
