i miss modest mouse.
after listening to We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, i wonder where they've gone.

can't say i was ever a huge fan, but polar opposites is one of my favorite songs ever.
and now i played this new cd...and i just feel like they're sort of gone.

and i see this list on peoples favorites of 07.... i can only guess these are people who hadn't heard of them until that horrible song they had on the radio..

my blowhard moment is over.

They haven't gone anywhere, have they? Didn't their latest album just come out last year? That's not an usually long absence. Not everyone can be like Robert Pollard and release four albums a year.
