From today's review in the NY Post:
Street Kings review (http://www.nypost.com/seven/04112008/entertainment/movies/nothing_keanu_under_the_sun_105961.htm)
Jay Mohr wears a mustache that itself looks like it served hard time for felonious bad taste

There is so much crazy behavior and over the top acting that Jay Mohr is the least problematic thing in the movie.....but lose the mustache.

I finally saw this and thought it was a good movie - however I have a question for jayjay:
Your character. What happened to him? Still in the trunk?

i watched it last night. jay was the only good thing about this flick. the stache looked like he was trying out for the lead in the Smokey and The Bandit remake.

I saw it the other night. It wasnt horrible but it wasnt great either. But I loved when they made the same movie and named it Training Day.

This wasn't bad, but was a pretty typical cop movie. I was surprised to see the Game in here and also Chris Evans with a rather small role. This had a quality enough cast where it really could have been a much better movie. Keanu in the lead role is a little weird I think.

I liked it, but I think they marketed it wrong. Jay's solid on Gary Unmarried.

I just watched it and actually liked it a lot, maybe even more than Training Day.
I'm gonna comment and not use spoiler tags because I doubt anybody would be reading this thread if they hadn't seen the movie.
That 'stache on Mohr was pretty awful.
I was glad that Reeves broke his arm and or hand. Somebody needed som hurting and not just to be killed.
I had a problem with some of the character motivation though.
I mean I can believe that all of the cops were greedy for money and power but to think that they all could be rapists ( based on their threats ) is a bit of a stretch.
I do have a question.
The black cop that was breaking Reeve's balls after the opening shootout is the same one that showed up with the Internal Affairs guy at the end ?
The whole time I was thinking that that was Washington that got killed.
Also I take it that Dr House wasn't bad and that he was just helping cover up an unfortunate situation.
Think that was the case ?

I think House was supposed to be a ball breaker, but in end he sort of realized that sometimes cops have to break the rules in order to really get justice so he was going to help Neo. That was my interpretation at least...
