It was fun hearing the old fights today, especially hearing Matty Fridays getting a beating. How about rematches?

Me vs East Side Dave for the Beanie Cup, I demand it! I loose, I walk away from the show and the AFRO internet community for good.

The vibe I've gotten from XM, especially recently, I mean its become a joke here [This will ruin the merger] is that radio shows on XM 202 shouldnt be doing much if anything in the radio bit arena one might call 'physical challenges'

My long winded ass way of saying: with the suits these days; doubtful.

Which sucks, having listened.

Would it be fair to say that said suits would be more relaxed once the merger is finalized?

The sad thing about it is that we got a the Big Ass Bash courtesy of 92.3 last year. The fact that XM is supposed to be 'uncensored' and can't step up is disheartening

A new round of fights could be interesting. Dave versus Earl would HAVE to be the Main Event.

What if, when he said "suits", he meant lawsuits? It would change the whole conversation. Or would it?

Who needs XM? Just make it the greatest podcast of all time.

Even w/o the added pressure of the merger, i would guess that the more physical days of any corporate radio show are relatively over.

I suppose it comes down to what RB sometimes refers to as things "being of their time" when judging them now, but i personnally found the "fights" rerun dull...maybe just one broadcast fight would have been better?

A woman who made talking dirty boring? almost as bad as when crazy jen makes a Dixie chick accent unattractive.

yeah, as always, some funny comments by the buddays-tho imo not nearly as good as any average ep, (and nature boy is a timeless classic) and i'm sure it was fun live(&drunk) and/or if you personally knew the fans involved,...

A woman who made talking dirty boring?

That particular segment was absolutely filthy and incredibly hot. It was cut to shreds for the on air broadcast, however. Trust me; boring it wasn't.

If it was edited for broadcast, that obviously makes a difference....and as i noted, of course being there live would be a completely different, er, thing.

To her additional credit ("sweet Melissa"?), there was a hilarious sudden drop in audience noise.

Do "dirty-talk" 900 #s even still exist? .....i am sure there is something somewhere, but for most of us perv's, even one from the radio-friendly, audio oriented minority; the batch level wasn't even 80s penthouse.

I would love to see them bring that back, but with all the regulations of radio now, even on XM, it might be hard to pull it off without it being fixed.

Also, who exactly do you want to hear in a fight? MLC, Fred, Mikey D? I can't even think of who they would fight and put themselves through it (I'm not fighting anyone either so don't throw my name in there).

Dave vs. Roland is already too old news to be a hot feud again. With the right build up it could be good again but don't see it happening. Dave vs. Earl is the fight that will always be popular and could headline easily.

Maybe it can be a huge event like the Big Ass Bash with a boxing match at the end. But a whole night? I just don't see happening.
