I just heard him on the radio recently and I was wondering if he has ever been considered popular outside of this area (NY/NJ). Everytime I hear the name, I always associate him with Bruce and wondered if he's actually well known around the rest of the country, or even the world.

Around the turn of the century I worked production/security at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire. It wasn't a great venue. We would always say that we got acts on the way up and on the way down. Staind, 3 Doors Down, Sevindust, all riiiight before they broke. The occasional Hair Band revival tour, John Valby, and every year Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. So he's at least got a following throughout the Northeast.
