a good publicity stunt is a thing of beauty....
they use to do them all the time in the old days...
the producers of Prom Night apparently came up with a winner that gave big numbers to their crappy movie.....
something about ushers jumping out of in-theater displays and scaring people.

The article on USA Today says that the "Scare Stunt" is a hit on YouTube, but Sony's own posting is just over 10,000 views. Viral marketing? I dunno. I think they did something similar for "The Godfather", Paulo.

If you check the video out, it sounds like East Side Dave frightening movie-goers...
