So... I was scrolling through my cellphone and I noticed an amazing amount of numbers/names that I don't recognize. These names don't sound even vaguely familiar. One of the names was "Wendy B.J."! You'd think I'd remember that one, right?

I wanna call some of these people (perhaps from a payphone) and see if it all comes back to me. Anybody have a good cover story for calling? I really don't feel like saying "hi, how do we know each other?"

I recently called all the people in my phone book i didnt know, probably not a good idea. It doesnt feel good when you hear 15 straight people not remember you, ever when you didnt remember them

Are you talking about number you put in yourself? In your phone book? Or, are you talking about your call log?
I ask because I cant imagine being able to put a number into your address book without a name.
Call the number and say "Whats up? I saw you called..?" If they dont know who you are, delete it. If you realize you know them, act like... Is this a new number? (as if you knew the old one)
