see and for me....if i felt that way about someone-- i would just chose to not buy anything for them. but i wouldn't go out of my way to publically say things to discourage others.

What I originally said is that when I go to a party I always offer to chip in. You explained that the party was more like a bunch of people getting together and pitching in. That is cool. I thought somebody decided to have a party, sent out invites and said "By the way bring whatever you want to eat and drink plus $50 bucks."

Well, it depends on how big your ship is... are we talking 17 foot leisure boat, or a yacht w/ a cabin? Why can't you just drive in?
