Any advice on how to deal with shitty co-workers

I have a real shiity co-worker who does his best to fuck my day up. He filed a complaint once because i had my XM inno in the back room with HEAD PHONES on and everyone was cracking up bumping O and A the queer sez hey let me hear I give him the headphones he fucking chuckles then sez hey i gotta go and files an indecency report saying i was openly playing offensive and lewd material violating a proper work enviorment. Hes had me written up for the dumbest minut shit ever. In hindsight High Society Radio should be alot better because im gonna be real fucking angry he makes me dread going to fucking work and being that im a security gaurd i don't know any channels to go through to deal with this cunt. Really hate this motherfucker where i might go on my day off wait for him to get off his shift and hit him with the old 2 piece. Hes a christian thats says God bless and all that bullshit but is a fucking split head dick hole. Would perfer cruel pranks if no one has any good HR soultions really hate this fucker and if you ever have had a co-worker that made your job diffcult please share how you dealt with them.

I am in HR and after reading the above explanation, there is pretty much nothing that HR can do at this moment. Has HR talked to you about the complaint being filed? I assume yes and what did they say about iti? Did you tell HR your side of the story?

I have employees coming to me from time to time and express anger towards the other person. About all I can do is tell them to avoid the other and ignore unless a company rule is violated. So, this might be a personal matter and revenge can be sweet

If he was Born Again I'm not sure why you would allow him to listen to O&A... obviously he's not going to get it or think it's funny, AT ALL. Maybe you can protest the write-up because it's factually incorrect... the person asked to listen to it which is different than it being openly played, but I still don't think it would matter. If a couple of co-workers and you had something pornographic you were gathered around looking at and this guy asked to see it and he found it offensive, he can still complain. I think the same rules apply to your situation.

Sit tight... don't let it get to you. You have the power to ignore or rise above the situation.

To be quite frank Johnny, your best bet is to get out of the security game. You are a very talented young man and the world is your oyster. You have strong contacts and references. Don't get me wrong, I thank Shiva every day for security guards keeping me safe in the mosh pit; at the methodone clinic; in the foyer of a really nice building; at Safeway; in the exercise yard. Unfortunately, howe'er, security guards tend to be considered toward the bottom of any corporate foodchain.

If it were Nike, you could probably sue the prick for racial bias, but most companies aren't that hip. I know MAN-MAN has to make ends meet, but there have to be other ways for someone such as yourself to do so. Violence is almost always a terrible idea, no matter how you feel. The HR way to go would be to CALMLY put in a complaint about him, or talk to your immediate supervisor (I am sort of assuming you have done this. What does your boss have to say?). If you feel harrassed, then complain about harrassment, but keep your cool and be succinct. Write down what you think you want to say before you say it so you sound together.

There is every probability that if YOU have a problem with this cunny, you are not alone. Twatty McTwatterton may already be the number one most hated twat in the building, in which case he has already discredited himself by being a whiner.

Whatever you do, just stay cool and smoove and slowly cancerous like a menthol.

1. Simply ignore the guy and continuing listening on your headphones and act as if he doesnt exist, be cordial but dont engage him

2. Report him to HR for pushing his religious beliefs on you with the god bless stuff tell them you find it offensive and that he is constantly trying to push his ideals and religion on you

Im not even sure how privately listening on headphones constitutes as playing offensive and lewd material. it's not like you had a surround system to let everyone listen to it.

There's a guy in my IT department who walks around with a bible in his hands (literally) acting as if he's walking on the right side of god. yet, at our christmas party last year he was pretty much dancing with girls like he was trying to get them pregnant. He is the first one to point out whats not work appropriate but at the same time, he's bringing in computers from outside of work and repairs them at our job because he's getting paid for it on the side. but thats ok, right?

I think that is a seperate problem than an annoying coworker. In your case, you need to discredit their ability to judge the situatio honestly. IMO, get that person to file reports on others too, so it's not just you who hates them. Eventually the top brass will know that they have a bad egg who does not fit in.
