After hearing the Sorting Glass PSA brought up I started thinking about the other PSAs I remember. Everyone remembers some notable commercial, but I think PSAs can be more infectious. That's probably because they're meant to be good-natured. My top three (probably dating myself here) are:

1) "I learned it by watching you"
2) Sorting Glass
3) Dragon Lady

Anyone have some others?

Don't You Put it in Your Mouth. This one has annoyed the shit out of me for years, but the line "I love you can I eat your guitar always cracks me up."

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5AuLkMBAFZg&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5AuLkMBAFZg&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

On a side note, are these PSA's even relevant in the states or am I bombarding you guys with Canadian culture?

High quality shows by the appearance of the boom mic when we first see the Dynamic Duo. Must have had a woman holding it. (I kid, I kid)

i couldn't find a video, but anyone remember the PSA with Farmer Brown and Gussie Goose singing about the foods you should eat to stay healthy.

"For variety and vitamins and feeling rooty-toot, eat a bread, a veg, a milk, a cheese, a bean, a meat, a fruit."

Not in the 'Good Natured' category, a little morbid, but as per the thread title; this was an amazing PSA

As for my favourite PSA, I only saw it once as part of the advertising awards show at the local art house cinema. Basically, there's a family of four out for a nice Sunday drive when some car comes out of nowhere and t-bones them. However, a split second before impact the camera freezes and spins around the car while a narrator goes in to detail about the horrific injuries and deaths this family is going to face because nobody was wearing their seatbelts. Then the action stats up again, the car is totaled and you see the father's bloody, mangled face.

Different message but same technique:

As long as you keep Dave Coulier out of your sigpic we should be OK.
