Police say "DC Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey, 52, has committed suicide in Florida. Police were called to the home of Palfrey's mother on Thursday to investigate the alleged suicide. Palfrey was arrested for allegedly running an upscale call girl ring in the nation's capital, one that serviced a number of media and political men. In mid-April, she was convicted of money laundering, using the mail for illegal purposes, and racketeering, but she had not yet been sentenced.
