Good we need some sort of movie segment. I can't wow my wife with queue requests without it.

Nice. Iron man was on when I went to the movies last night, but I went and saw Harold and Kumar escape from Guantanamo Bay instead, I feel I made the right decision.

So... the no substiutions, additions or subtractions rules for the CT restaurant and the applcation there of needs some clarification. Say Jivin were to order a sandwich that has a nasty tomato slice on it. Would he be allowed to remove said tomato once the sandwich is at the table? Or would he be required to eat the sandwich as prepared, for if he didn't want the tomato on the sandwich he should have ordered something else?

So, if they pay retards in pennies that means they pay them in food, right?

Hey a big mention of me in the show today!

I am "father of a retarded kid."

For the record, he appeared totally normal until he was about 6 months old. Totally normal pregnancy, nothing unusual at all. The seizures started when he was 6 months old and all development stopped at that point. It has been quite a rough 5 years, but certainly never thought I wished he hadn't been born.

I think your opinion about this subject would change if you'd gone through what I have for the last 5 years. It didn't end my life at all. It has been challenging, no doubt, but it isn't all that bad. I won't bore you with all of this, but if you want to know how or why or what's it like or any of that, I will be happy to answer you from actual experience. I will say a lot of the things you talked about in your segment are pretty unrealistic, but I understand where you are coming from (I thought like that at one time in my life, too).

After thinking about it some more I gotta agree that a single Godzillaish creature would be pretty boring but multiple creatures could change things around especially in the middle of a natural disaster or something. Give me Godzilla and Cloverfield in a hurricane and lets say i have a hangover. Lets go.

Great show again guys, a few thoughts in no apparent order,

1) Nickelback sucks ass, as a Canadian I feel I must apologize to you Americans for being from the same country as these douche bag fagots, if it makes you feel any better, the Canadian Broadcast Council mandates that a percentage ( I think 70% ) of our programming content must be Canadian, so Nickelback gets played all the time. This was the #1 major reason why I bought XM, that and heading to a remote area for work where I could only get one radio station, and they had a 3 day Billy Joel marathon, but that's another story.

2) You don't eat wolves, they are considered a nuisance. Wolves will kill just for fun, eg. they will kill an elk or deer even if they are not hungry and leave it. To a lesser extent they will stalk people as well. As a good wildlife steward, it is necessary to hunt wolves to maintain the populations of other species eg. Elk, moose or deer. That is the legal justification for it, I just think it is fun.

3) CT you are right about ordering food the way it is, it drives me crazy when people delete or add shit from their order when I go out to eat, it makes the order take longer and who knows what the cook is doing to the food while he is preparing it because he is annoyed, I don't need a ball juice seasoned burger. If you don't like it pick it off when it arrives.

4) We have some of the best skiing/snowboarding in the world in Alberta, here are my two favorites:

http://www.sunshinevillage.com/the_mountain/overview.php

http://www.skilouise.com/

I prefer Sunshine village because Goat's Eye mountain is a blast, a good mix of Moguls, boulders and glades, also they have the steepest ski hill in the world, the Delirium Dive, which is an 88% grade, avalanche transmitters and shovels are required equipment to ski this run and you must check in at the top and out at the bottom, otherwise they assume you are buried and will come looking for you.

Another reason sunshine rules is the ski in ski out hotel on the hill, if you can get 4 guys together, a suite with 4 beds and passes is usually cheaper than buying just passes for the weekend. CT and Jivin ski weekend anybody? The slush cup is just around the corner.

5) NWO - Jivin you get it completely, it is all about fun, CT this would be a great area to expand you skills, don't think that the guys I pick would be without skills, you could learn how to turn on a gas station, or a power plant or anything. I would clear the blocked streets with a bulldozer, who's going to stop me? We will make sure to show you how stuff works too, most of my buddies and myself are trades or engineer types, so don't worry about us figuring it out, it will be taken care of. Also don't make any rules, we will knife that guy. I hate rules.

Great show again guys, I will stop typing and go "Do Work Son"!

Ok CT I have to admit im not a Soccer fan but thinking it over Soccer is the ultimate Tailgating sport. First you have the great weather. Second its a hands free sport. In my minds eye one of my hands is holding a pint of Guinness (poured in a glass), in my other hand is a Shish Kabob with pieces of skirt steak, pineapple, peppers, and onions. All while kicking around a soccer ball with my pals. Thats a Damn Good Time!

I’ve always heard that it is inappropriate to wear the shirt of the band that you are going to see. The main reasons given for this are:

1.People there already know you’re into the band; you’ve purchased tickets to see them live, it's redundant.

2.Wearing another bands shirt is appropriate, for people may check them out based on your t-shirt recommendation. Basically you’re advertising for another band in the same genre and thus spreading the word. I think this concept was more appropriate before music was readily available online and after every purchase a pop up for “if you’re into this then check out these other four bands” became common place.

Anyway, this is a long way to go for my question. Why are people that wear the jersey or team colors to a sporting event not shunned? The above criteria for a concert would also fit for a hockey game, people there know you’re a fan for you’re attending the game and if you wear another teams jersey to the game… well that’s not exactly accepted. Hey if you’re into the Blackhawks you might want to checkout the Blues, that won't exactly go well. Just wanted some opinions on the issue.

I believe it has to do with the intelligence level. Not all sports fans are dumb, but a good portion of the viewers at a given event have the same intelligence level as a cave man. Combine that with sports fans living out their high school glory days and the mentality that goes along with it and it makes sense. If you look different or go against the trend then they will give you shit for it. To some extent the "smarter" sports fan also reverts back to the high school mentality and dress in the same attire to avoid the jock attention. Nobody wants to be thumped by a mongoloid for dressing like a faggot. Just my $0.02.

If you didn't point it out no one would have noticed.

I appreciate your two cents on the issue. I was more or less looking at it from a social perspective. Both venues host an event; however, the social rules for the guests seem to be different. You may be onto something with the intellegience factor and people's clinging on to their former glory. Thanks... tanks.

On amputee porn: I saw a pic not long ago of a chick at a convention dressed as Rose McGowan's character from "Grindhouse", and she actually was an amputee, so she had the gun on her stump. And she was hot as hell.

Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem dating an amputee. It wouldn't really affect me one way or the other. It wouldn't repulse me, but I don't quite think I have a fetish for it. Though I can't promise that a batch wouldn't end up on the end of that stump.

Fuck I am sick of the Ron and Fez crowd running into here posting shit that doesn't make sense, cutting down the threads we have or hijacking, and then leaving again. Anyways I won't go into much detail but, NIN put out an album, I won't say anymore or this will probably get moved too.

ONE TIME WEARING A BAND'S T-SHIRT TO THEIR SHOW MAY BE APPROPRIATE:
Battle of the Bands. Now at a normal show obviously you don't wear a perfoming band's t. But if they were in a battle of the bands where wearing their shirt identifies you as a supporter of them I could see it being alright. Now on to sporting events, I admittedly am a team apparel wearer to a sporting event. I'm always sporting my Sox hat. And when I got to Yankee Stadium at the end of the month I will be wearing it. And when I go to fenway next month I'll be wearing my jersey as well. Is it cool probably not, but I don't have a problem with wearing your teams gear to their game, in fact you get more cred for doing that in enemy territory. If this made sense I'd be amazed.
I guess it comes down to a performance vs. a competition. The rules are different.

The hosting has never been the issue for me, it has always been negative comments made towards the CT and Jivin program that irk me.

Are you implying that CT and Jivin only have 20 listeners? If they started at 1 subscriber and doubled that every month that would explain the excellent growth percentage.

Remember, it's quality not quantity.
