Driving along route 273 here in Delaware (four-lane highway), and someone (couldn't even see if it was a guy or girl) in an SUV is alongside me in the other lane.

All of sudden, they run me off the road.

Now, here's the interesting part. When you see a giant fucking vehicle merging into you at 60 MPH, you tend to swerve your own car to avoid said vehicle.

I do this, my car spins out of control, spins across all the East bound lanes, over the median strip, across all the westbound lanes and up into the small parking lot of some building I couldn't even tell you the name of. I actually can't believe it didn't flip. And I have no clue how I made it across the entire opposite side of the highway without hitting someone.

The SUV takes off. NO ONE SEES WHAT THIS FUCKING CAR LOOKS LIKE!!!! :furious:

One very nice lady stops and says she saw what the person did, but couldn't really identify the car.

So I can't even call the fucking cops, because what's the point? What the hell am I going to say.

Miraculously, it appears there's no damage to my car, which absolutely stunned me.

...I don't even know how to react to this whole series of events. I think I'm just stunned. Oh and the touch of whiplash in the left side of my neck is making it quite pleasant too.

crazy shit. glad you came out ok budday!

the other day i was thinking about how stupid it is that people get killed driving to work or to get the kids or groceries, whatever. it makes no godamn sense to me that it can all be over in an instant like that. when i die i want it to be for a reason.

Sucks dude. It's amazing when you come out completely unscaved. A few months ago I was driving down the Sawmill and I saw two headlights coming right towards me at high speed, then swerve and hit the divider about 10 ft in front of me. Some drunk driver came so close to killing me and my friends going the wrong way... I had to stop in the middle of the road just to gather what had happened (and what could have happened)

I've never that been close in real life but I can relate because I had the same experience in GTA4 last night. I can't believe I didn't even get a dent.

I'm glad you came through okay. That would have been completely terrifying.

I've never that been close in real life but I can relate because I had the same experience in GTA4 last night. I can't believe I didn't even get a dent.

Last night I asked my boyfriend why Michelle doesn't say anything to him when he runs over mailboxes and poles and so on when she is in the car. Cause, I think I would say something to him.

"Honey, everybody drives like this in Liberty City," he said.

What kind of car do you have?
the fact it DIDNT flip or blow out the tires, etc..shows its a good one.

You're VERY lucky. If the dirt had been soft enough, you would have had a real problem. A few weeks ago, a 24 year old girl left the road near my house. The left front wheel dug into the soft dirt and it flipped her right into a tree. You can see a huge gouge in the dirt, and all the bark is missing from the tree where her roof wrapped around it. It's a very sobering sight, and I see it about 2 or 3 times a day.
