Im moving to the city of brotherly love!!! I got hired at medflight service in Philly, I should be moving down to philly around june 1st. I dont know philly really at all; I living outside of center city. Im a little nervous about moving away from family, but excitied about the new job.

I am starting helicopter flight training next week. I got my FAA physical the other day. I am looking forward to finishing, so I can join you in new-lucrative-jobdom.

Yea Congrats! Philly is a great place. We are just better than everywhere else. You will understand it if you are willing to be adapted into the greatness.

Philly is a great city and there is a lot of really cool stuff in the area. I live in the suburbs (the exurbs, really), and it is extremely convenient. Lots of traffic, but not any worse than other cities.

I don't get out a lot, but feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to answer.

Yea, I caught the news. Tough city these days, but every major city goes through a rough period NYC did in the 70's and 80's, and now boston and philly are seeing a spike in crime too. Just the ebb and flow of things.

hahahahahhahaah, pilots def make more cake, they do have the tougher job than those taking care of the patient in the back of the helo. Congrats and best of luck with becoming a pilot. :thumbup::thumbup:

...no, but i have some relatives that work at HUP...PennSTAR is their helicopter service

Welcome to Philly! I LOVE Philly! I lived near Center City when I went to school at Drexel, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! You'll be busy all right, thats for sure!
