Does anyone have a
favorite facial moisturizer?

I'm about to run out of my
favorite from shaklee and I
don't think I can get
anymore, and I'm afraid to
try other things - I don't want
them to be too greasy
feeling but on the other
hand I have super dry skin
right now cause I've had a
cold and been blowing my
nose so god damned
much.

It's a litle expensive, but if you can afford a splurge, I recommend Clinique's Moisture Surge. It's the only thing that will work on my dry skin in the middle of winter! (If you just want to try it, go to the Clinique counter and ask for a sample).

biore used to make this great pink moisturizer. I've never used anything better. now all they make is this foam crap that totally doesnt work. Im using ponds now but its a little greasy. I also have this moisturizer from MAC cosmetics which is great but its 25 for a little tube. Good for going out cause it puts a glow under your make up or on your skin but kind of impractical for everyday use.

I swear by Clinque. I never used to like mosturizer, but Clinique's is perfect, and not greasy at all. I just started using their new visible skin renewer and its GREAT. it makes your skin look really good.

Fuzzybutt, if you can afford splurge why do you need moisturizer? ;) All in good fun. My mom uses that biore stuff.

I'm with AMB! I really love Clinique products. I started using their City Sunblock years ago and slowly started buying more and more stuff. I use the 3-step "cleansing system." It really has made a difference. Moisture Surge is great, but the product I *swear* by is the Total Turnaround cream.

What do you mean "afford?" From what I understand there are plenty of ways of getting "free samples."

I like to mosturize, but use one without alcohol - because alcohol dries out the skin - it makes you look older.

Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as, uh, anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your ass. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and, uh, Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

I love Clinique....I use their facial cleanser, soap and toner as well. Really good stuff especially if you have senssitive skin. Their make up products rock too. They sell an awesome stick form of eyeshadow that you can use as both a base and alone. The only thing I don't use is their foundation, I like Prescriptives Virtual Skin better.

I...uh...I put deodorant on after I shower. That's about as much maintenance as I get.

I feel inadequate.

Poots: dont feel bad, we appreciate that more than the cologne shower. GROSS. Colone is to be used in ADDITION to shower and deoderant, not in place of!

Boys can use moisturizer too ya know espeicially after shaving int he winter. theres nothing more gross than a guy with chunks of dry skin hanging off their face

Not sure if it's used for facials, per se, but Eucerin Lotion has become my lotion of choice for giving massages. It's non-greasy, is absorbed slowly and was originally designed to combat excessively dry skin.

Can I also recommend a nice waxing cream or perhaps share some thoughts about those not-so-fresh feeling? ;)

After shaving I'll use St. Ives hypo-allergenic oil free facial moisturizer with cornflower extract. Works pretty well, doesn't clog pores, and isn't scented. The oil free part sold me.

I've heard great things about MAC products from everyone that has tried them. I am really afraid to go up to the counter at Macy's cause I know I will end up going overboard and spending waaaaaaaay too much on stuff. lol

Poison Ivy-

Now is the time to try MAC, they have these face cases that cost about $40 and have 3 eyeshadows, 2 blushes and 3 lipsticks in one little case. They also a 10 mini lipgloss set, and a lipstick case that has like 12 colors. I bought ALL of them.
