But bummer on the dude dying, and I'm a fan of a lot of avant-garde [the non-self serving shit] so kudos to him for being a pointed stick in the world of art. Pointed sticks are sorely needed.

His "combines" were whimsical, but I loved his paintings (of the "early" variety).
