Has anyone else seen this? L.A. radio host Kevin James being interviewed on Hardball with Chris Matthews.
James discusses Bush's comments about U.S. politicians (ie: Obama) willing to meet with radical enemies of the U.S and makes a comparison to Neville Chamberlain's appeasement of Adolf Hitler on the eve of the Second World War.
The problem is James has no idea who Neville Chamberlain was, or what his role was in appeasing Hitler. Its priceless!

Meh. Matthews is annoying to me if he isn't interviewing a politician. His "never-shut-up-keep-interrupting" ways keeps politicians off balance, and you get some interesting answers because of it. He also doesn't seem to understand the "delay" factor when the TV picture is split screen, and the guest he is interviewing is 1000 miles away and he won't wait for the delay/reply before plowing into the next question or telling you a story about when he was a campaign staffer for Rizzo during his Philadelphia days.

I've been weaning myself off of TV news lately but I did come across this as it was happening. "Priceless" might be an understatement. This is CLASSIC!!!(I think "classic" is above "priceless"??)

Matthews is a wingdick, but he did give that sack a royal tooling.

Fair enough, but in this case Matthews was absolutely doing this job. The right sent in a joker with a page full of talking points. Some dipshit who clearly didn't understand the topic at hand but rather looked like a junior Hannity. Matthews asked him a clear question and the man obviously couldn't answer it.
I hope the media start doing this sort of thing to all sides of an argument and either force these empty talking heads out or force them to actually know what the fuck they are talking about.
Kudos to you Chris Matthews.

There's been a bunch of them coming out of the woodwork. One Station wonders, like the DJs Opie & Anthony go after.
It's like shooting fish in a barrel. Even a conservative like me will roll my eyes and yell at dipshits like this one. Makes us all look stupid.

Could it be that they need new actors in their show?
Bear with me as this is how I read it. If they use all of the same pundits, it's the same old show (re: Bush). If they insert some new pundits, it's something new and fresh (McCain).

Better late than never I suppose. Had the mainstream media strapped on the pair of cojones that they have seem to grown now that W's posse are heading ignominiously out the door, say in 2002, we wouldn't have soldiers coming home in flagged-draped coffins, would be several trillion $ less in debt to China & OPEC, etc.
Of course, the scariest thing is that there are (and have been) scores of political hacks in top policy-making positions of this administration who are just as ignorant as this poor sap.

I have to admit, Chris Matthews is growing on me. Last Tuesday during the West Va. election results, he called Hillary the "Al Sharpton of white people".

You're on the right track. But it's deeper then that. Most of these guys are like Bush, unable to admit the mistake of defending Bush when it became clear there were no WMDs, his administrations hostility with the press, etc.
And you're reference to Hannity is dead on. I can't stand that douchebag, and his leading questions intended to paint the person he is interviewing into a corner. These guys see his rating numbers, and aspire to become carbon copies of him.
Conservative talk radio is becoming like heavy metal did in the late 80s. Bring out the next host, give him a sheet of talking points, a hip new way of telling a disagreeable listener to shutup, and watch the ratings soar! They have lost the original idea of conservative radio, to be the alternative voice in our national discussions. Even Rush is a shadow of himself now. This "operation chaos" stunt he is pulling is shameful. I didn't serve the country to have someone use our system of democracy to be a prankster, or to draw attention to himself.
Edit: and they can't insert "new pundits" to defend McCain. They hate McCain, they just hate him less then they do Obama or Clinton. You won't see conservative talk radio giving a legitimate defense to McCain. Either they won't do it, or when they try, their personal bias towards McCain will interfere, and make them look stupid.
