I'm having a garage sale today, so I've spent the better part of two days going through boxes in the basement and attic. I uncovered a gem -

For those of you who don't remember, it was a promotional sticker that was supposed to be stuck in bathrooms all across NYC in bars, restaurants, subway stations...wherever.

I found a stack of about a hundred of 'em, so remind me to bring them to the next get together and I'll hand 'em out.

From The Platters and Elvis to The Ramones, Clash, Sex Pistols, Sid Vicous, to Howlin' Wolf and Albert Collins...all gone.

And I sold my two Bengal helmets (the old 70's one and the current one) 2 for a buck.

I can't remember what bar in Hoboken I was in (one of the many thousands) but I sat down and I was greeted to the sticker.

I used to work in Hoboken and one of those stickers was stuck to the lower part of a light pole on River Street and Newark. I laughed every time I saw it.
