........*Sizzle, sizzle* Oh! Ooh, ya startled me! Didn't see ya there... Come on in... Yup, just here busy fryin up some ham 'n' eggs.... must've drifted off into my owwwwn little wooorld...... head in the clooouds, fryin up ham 'n' eggs..... ahhh chuckle, chuckle....
Well, the word from Ham 'n' Egger Corner is that due to some real ham 'n' egger bullshite, I missed Tuesday's and Wednesday's shows this week....
Maybe you are thinking that I really over-used the phrase, "ham 'n' egger...." I think you are right....
You see where I'm headed.. yeah.. OK... So, I am just catching the replays of the shows I missed this weekend.. happily, happily.... Dudes, seriously. Happy to catch up cause you know, it's like... I only missed hearing two shows and when I came back everything seemed all crazy-like...different!
Earl has some new nickname...how did he get this new name?! I don't know! Then Lilly's turning vegetarian.....and and Fezzie made a reference to The Kentucky Headhunters... and Ron was loving Summer popcorn movies..! OOoh I felt like a stranger in a strange land...
Well, not to get all too dramatic... but I'm catchin up.... but I fear that my ramblings here may have glaring gaps and holes.......
I found myself thinking, "Damn, I wish somebody would write a blog about this so...... Oh my... Oh my word... That's uh.... what ummm.. I ehh.... " I mused, trailing off when the realization came to me... "That's what you're sposed to be doin ya dummy!!!" I yelled at myself sharply.
"Hey, WHOA." I took a step back, then threatened, "Whoa bitch...whooa-hoo-ho there! Back the fuck up before you start comin' outta ya neck at me like that! I'll take off a boot!"
I should pretend that this went on for quite some time... me arguing with myself....
I should pretend that it all ended with a neighbor calling the cops with the report of some redheaded lunatic screaming obscenities in the parking lot while repeatedly beating herself about the head with an army boot.....
Anyway, that didn't happen. That was pretend.... I said it was pretend.
I'll tell ya what, on Thursday's show this dude called in.. I forget about what exactly... but he said that he listens to you guys everyday and how listening to the show, "makes the day better." I responded to the radio, pointing, "You got that right, pal!"
That's true.... Ron and Fez do make it a better day.... I know wassup... but I tell you when I was havin me some shite days this week and couldn't listen.... that's when I was hardcore missing....
Aggravating days and every now and then I'd look at the clock and think, "Aww man, missin the show..." knowing that at least if I coulda been listening to Ron and Fezzie right, I know that would make thangs more copacetic...... "Rrrrrrrar!!!" More screaming... Maybe I'm a bit attached...
I was listening to the Tuesday replay yesterday, and you guys were talking about this study that claimed older people are generally happier than younger folk...... and the discussion flowed to where you guys were sayin... then why not skip all the unhappiness bullshit... to paraphrase..... why wait til you're older....? I thought that was some good pointage... and I thought, "Man, I coulda used that message the other day... how did I miss..." and then, "Oh yeah, I wasn't able to hear the show!" Oooh made monster scream again... Have I learned no lesson?! Enough wit the screaming!
OK, sooo the point of this kinda-blog is to say that for real, for real.... forrr reallll... the blog will be back in business this week... for real... and it certainly makes me nervous to say that AGAIN cause I haven't really had my act together at all.... but I mean it...
Cause I was thinking about the fact that listening to the Ron and Fez Show everyday makes the ole gal happy... and so does rambling about it... so get it together old thing! So that's what I'ma dooo.....
