I saw over at the NYRMB that O&A seem to be fighting Curtis Sliwa of all people. I'm sure O&A are totally innocent, of course. Ooh, I bet Curtis dissed them. Ooh, I bet they'll get the pests after him. Ooh, I bet they'll talk about him being bumped for Imus. Ooh, I bet O&A will win in the end...

Sliwa took a shot at them while talking about the Sue Simmons thing. Opie had Steve try to get him on to discuss what his problem is with them. He told Steve that he'd rather do a radio interview for some college station because they had more listeners than O&A. They found out he wasn't doing any such interview. They called him out on it. Sliwa and his screener decided to blab Steve's cell phone number out over the air. He also speculated that Steve Carlisi was "mobbed up" and that he was harassing Sliwa to get him on with O&A because they needed his presence on their show to get some ratings. He also said they were on the verge of being fired due to lack of listeners. They pretty much dropped it at that point because they went over to XM and had Dice on for the entire show.

the show peaked when they returned to radio on XM, and i loved it - but the moment i heard they sold out (yes, sold out) to CBS, i knew it wouldnt be long before i lost interest.

Yeah NYRMB also started a thread because some overnight jock on a station with 8 listeners said "Crap" too much.
