I have seen that opening scene, and it is pretty bad. It is definitely a WTF moment.

I disagree wholeheartedly. She had three big movies, and each of them had other apsects/stars that there the reason why the movie succeeded:

Ghost - I think the story, Whoopi and to a lesser extent Swayze sold that movie. Any other chick could have had Demi's role.
Indecent Proposal - The plot premise and Robert Redford were the reason this movie sold well.
Disclosure - Again, plot premise (sexual harassment at a time when this was a big topic) and Michael Douglas, who was on a roll at the time, sold that movie.

Any others you can think of?
