first of all, i'm not kidding. is that wrong to report this? i mean it happened, and i love to report DEAD people on thiis site. okay so she isn't a celebrity, but she certainly is to me.

let me tell you a little about this woman........first of all, picture Flo from "Alice". even the hair.

about 20 years ago, at easter dinner, she offered me a plate of shelled, hard boiled eggs that were dyed purple. she offered me the plate, and said in her west virginia accent, "go ahead, joe, eat one".

grimacing, i respectfully declined, stating that i don't eggs, especially dyed purple ones.....

her response to this, at the table, on easter sunday, was, "you chicken shit?"

now i beg your indulgence for a moment. easter sunday for me growing up was a very conservative, rejoiceful affair, where words like "chicken shit" were left for the neer do wells on the street corner.

she had been riding me all day, apparently sensing a certain condenscending manner from my body language and responses, so her calling me chicken shit was a culmination of jibes and verbal jabs that had gone on all day long.

my response to her, at her table, loaded with family, including my new born son, was "FUCK YOU!". I couldn't belive the words were coming out of mouth when i said it.

half the table laughed, half the table gasped.

i had had enough of this class 1 bitch, a woman who did not allow her husband to watch the redskins on sunday, a woman who greeted you with comments like, "gained some weight? eh?".

So to get the F.U. out was better than filling the bowl full of excrement after eating mexican.

So you would think today I would be rejoicing in her demise, even reporting it on this site.

Instead, I feel remorse, sadness, and a true sense of loss. I really do. Betty, if you can hear me in hell, "Hail and farewell, i'll be seeing you sooner than later".

Well, at the very least, may I express my condolences to your wife's side of the fam.

But as for you, how about a nice ride to america's favorite stadium?
there's so many seats, you can always get one!
bring the binoculars just in case though.

lol your thread made me laugh, although I'm not sure if that was your intention. I'm sorry for your loss but I'm sure you also had a lot of interesting times together.

thanks. actually, i became persona non grata after the FU remark. i can count on one hand the amount of times we visited her over the past 20 years. but when she was dying, she finally was willing to make amends and we parted on good terms. talk about holding a grudge.
