I am cleaning out my closet to make room for a wife and I have put together a big stack of sci fi books that I have collected through the years. The whole Foundation series is in there, all the new Dune prequels, um.. and a whole bunch of other stuff.
I dont like throwing things like this out and before I tried to dump it on freecycle or craigslist I figure I would see if any of you folks wanted any free books. I can get them to you at the mall in Bridgewater (or Phillipsburg if you are out that way) any afternoon.
PM me if you are interested or post any questions here. They books are all (mostly) hardcover and in decent collection. Don't know if there are any big sci fi nuts out there but its a whole bunch of books for free.

So how will you dispose of the body after they meet you for these books?

Pfft.
Thats why I only meet folks in public places, I don't want to be killed by you all.
Seriously though, I do have a big pile of books to give away.

If you haven't had a taker - I work in New Brunswick and have always wanted to be a sci fi geek.
I'm also perfectly willing to put my life at risk for cheap or free shit looking back on my record with past craigslist rendevous.

Cool.
What times can you make it to the mall? I work in Somerset, I could meet you along Easton Ave if you want, I get out of work at 4. Can you step out of the office around that time or are you stuck there until later?

Oh - delightful.
I'm chained to work from roughly 10:30am on through the rest of the day. Does morning work? What mall?

Just so you know, there is the small price of eating penis (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=69728) which you'll pay for. Nothing is free.
Enjoy.

I've met with Jezo and am still alive.
I've scored the following:
Clarke's Odessey books (various)
Everything Frank Herbert's ever written (it seems - good)
Asimov's series
There's a post apocolyptic book in there that looks good. Love the end of times stuff.
Some Manga
Timequake - one Vonnegut I haven't read
a few from the C.S. Lewis series (loved these)
Farenheit 451 ... you know and it's funny about this book - I read it in the late 80's in high school and would really like to take another look at it. If you've read 1984 and it's been awhile, you try it again - I got a third of the way into that recently and it's chilling to have a more adult perspective on the social critique/death of society books.
not to mention...
101 things you should know how to do (I've already learned something about cigar smoking)
a 1978 issue Jaws 2 trading card
a 5 year old book of stamps. I'm affixing the whole thing to a thank you card to Jezo - who did not kill me and did not make me eat penis. (although I was a little disappointed with the latter)
Thanks budday!
