WWE signed D'Lo Brown.

He was one of my favorite mid carders.

...he's still active? Isn't he pushing 40 at this point? Wow.

Will he still have the chest protector?

Can you say Nation of Domination?

Will the new nation include Micheal "PS" Hayes?

Good for D-Lo, ECW needs some new talent.

He's the guy that paralyzed Darren Drozdov.

He's the guy that paralyzed Darren Drozdov.

He also killed Terri Runnels' fake baby!

A refresher on the Droz incident:

Drozdov's active wrestling career ended suddenly when he suffered a severe neck injury during a match with D'Lo Brown during a WWF SmackDown! taping on October 5, 1999 at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. Drozdov, in a shoot interview, states he was wearing a loose shirt during the match. When Brown went for his signature running powerbomb, he wasn't able to gain a proper grip on Droz while Droz wasn't able to execute a proper jump to aid in the lifting of the powerbomb. As a result, the move was botched. Drozdov landed on his head, and fractured two disks in his neck. He was immediately rushed to Nassau County Medical Center where he underwent hours of surgery to reduce and stabilize the pressure on his injured neck. Even with intensive medical care, his injury left him a quadriplegic.

Mick Foley recounts in his book Foley is Good, that he was at the hospital with D'Lo Brown after the match. D'Lo was understandably very upset at what had happened. Mick Foley tells how Drozdov (on a stretcher) told D'Lo not to blame himself and that it was an accident.

D'Lo's been wrestling in All Japan and by all accounts doing quite well. I wonder if he'll bring his Yakuza sponsor with him to the WWE? That should help him with backstage politics...

Credit to PWInsider:
D-Lo Brown made his return to World Wrestling Entertainment tonight in a dark match prior to WWE Monday Night Raw at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. D-Lo Brown defeated Charlie Haas after a frog splash. WWE announced that D-Lo Brown had been signed to a contract on June 5, 2008.

Which brand do you think he would be better on? I would love to see him feud with MVP or Kofi, maybe it's just me.

He teamed with London and jobbed to Ted Jr. & Rhodes in a dark match before Raw. That could be a good team to do TV jobs to the young guns -- D'Lo and AJ were decent in TNA.
