But to play Devils advocate ... if no on plays the counterpoint, it's awefully quiet in there. Dave disgrees just to disagree probably because Earl takes so much shit for disagreeing. The downside to constantly taking the other side of an argument is that if you don't know all the facts you sound like an ass.

i think the clash are more new wave/ska. theres not much punk about them

First album was about as punk as you can get. Give 'em Enough Rope had that shitty producer that softened the sound a bit and I agree doesn't count as punk. I'm with you with everything after that, including my favorite London Calling. The Clash, however, absolutely started out as a punk bank and then evolved into a wider ranging music. After kicking out Mick Jones, Joe Strummer and his new two guitarists went back to being punk with Cut the Crap but that album sucked.

NONE of them had a spinoff.

The actors who plaed George, Kramer, and Eliane had had post-Seinfeld television series, but none of those series were related to Seinfeld.

Earl had the same issue with stating that Gnarls Barkley is an amazing rock band. They are NOT rock.

People nowadays think that if there is a drum beat that it is INSTANTLY rock.

they have a band with instruments and a lead singer...i say thats rock...i wouldnt put them into rap or R&B

i do like them but i hate how bands act and dress wierd for no reason...
