Fathers Day

I personally hate fathers day. I never really had much of a father and I haven't talked to him since January. All I think about is my friends that actually have good fathers.

Anyone else hate this holiday?

I dont really hate fathers day, I just dont have anything to do on it. All my friends are busy with theirs, my mother visited her fathers gravesite while I just sit here. It's just another sunday to me.

I am as indifferent towards this Hallmarkday as I am the rest..All it means to me is another sale at Sears..

Anybody want to have my baby so I can get a reservation at IHOP?

My Dad never liked father's day when he was alive.
He knew it was just another Hallmark-created holiday, and although he wasnt terribly religious, he believed you should honor thy father every day.

So, I never really celebrated it when he was alive, I sure as hell dont celebrate it now.

He liked his birthdays though; So thats when I make it a point to visit him.

As for this particular day, it never meant anything to me, so I dont even miss it.
I pretty much remember every day that my Dad is gone; today is no different.
