I didn't see any club throwing, but as I read one commentor say this weekend, it's Tiger's show of emotion that has made him popular. It makes him look human. Imagine him being this incredible and not showing emotions such as elation or anger. People would call him a robot and hate him for that.

Nicklaus was very unpopular for years because he was not very emotional especially compared to the fan favorite at the time, Arnold Palmer.
