What exactly is the point of tags?
They were added as a new featurein 2.0 and we abused those priveledge and were taken away except for the mods or thread starter. Fine I understand that BUT if we have tags and there is no list to chose from then all you have is a bunch of random tags that don't go anywhere.

For Example
If you click on a tag it will bring you all the threads that have that tag, but since all tags are just random saying if you click on the tag all you will get is the one thread that has that tag the one your looking at already. I think they were a funny thing that we abused but that is better then tags that don't do a damn thing.
Try clicking on a tag at the bottom of a thread and see if Im right

If you search by tags and type whatever it is that you are searching for it may or may not direct you to what you want.

But I completely understand your point. They really don't do much unless someone can explain what I don't get.
