instead of getting him cigars will someone get him the patch or something next time
hes coughing like hes got the emphazima(sp?) or something past few days
if your not going to encourage him to quit then at least don't enable this destructive habit

he smokes cigars. You dont inhale those. Those main problems from Cigars would be like mouth problems more then chest. I dont see how it would cause coughing

He's had a cold for a while. They missed last Monday because of it. That's why he's coughing.

Look how much cigarette smoking it takes to cause that shit. you arent getting lung problems from the occasional possible tiny amount of smoke from cigars. Mouth problems, sure. Not lungs

Well, if second-hand smoke can screw up the lungs of some civilian across a crowded restaurant imagine the damage a fine imported Cuban could do right under Ronnie's nose.

yea i have a feeling that is over the top too, the second hand nonsense. PEOPLE SMOKE FOR YEARS AND YEARS GETTING SMOKE AND SECOND HAND SMOKE. An hour a week of you smelling smoke as a nonsmoker isnt giving you cancer in 6 months. Calm the fuck down

Ron's an adult, and a man of means. I think if he wanted to quit smoking cigars he would be able to do it. He's been sober for how many years, he certainly has willpower? I would have to believe he doesn't want to quit and getting him a patch would be just a little insulting.

Exactly.
On the other hand, it's sad watching my father have to tote around oxygen bottles and not be able to walk more than a few steps at a time because emphysema has shut his lungs down. Here's a guy who swore he was going to quit when cigarettes hit 75 cents a pack.
Not trying to preach. Just sayin'.

I've always felt that anyone who is a recovering addict should have as much nicotine and caffeine as they want. Fuck it.

Never. Ron has an iron lung.
If you feel so strongly about it though, try taking them away from him. I dare you.

As pointed out earlier, he's been sick for two weeks. It's a virus (or maybe bacteria). We should just feel lucky that his work ethics are allowing us to keep hearing him.

I'm sure that if he hasn't been killed by all the drugs he's done then I doubt a couple cigars a day will hurt too much.

I <3 Him , he is practically my favorite person in life, and if smoking kills him, not only will I be sad, but he will probably be doing Earl's grandmother
