Why do people have to fuck with me?

Last week it became really clear to me that I get really annoyed and frustrated with people in general. On the road, in stores, pretty much anyone who goes through life with their head up their ass. I decided to try to make an effort to not let unimportant shit get me all worked up because it's just not worth it. Since then I noticed that almost on a daily basis I am being tested to keep my cool. I had a wedding to go to on Saturday. Me and my girl get out of the car all dressed up and we're walking past a traffic light. I hear someone yell out "Hey!" as if they knew me. I turn and see a little red car with 2 mid-30ish guys. They proceed to say "You look like a penis with ears.." (Which is kinda funny) So I walk up to the car, figuring I know them, look them both in the eyes and realize 2 complete strangers felt the need to try to insult me on the street without any instigation. So I just looked at them, grin and go back to my chick and they drive away. She was amazed because typically a "situation" would've occurred after the comment. I was shocked, because while I'm not a big guy, or scary guy, but I've heard from people that I have a look about me that could be intimidating at times as if I have the potential to be a problem.

Does anyone else feel like they have a pre-disposition to being fucked with?

NOTE - A few other incidents happened the weekend to make me feel like I'm just prone to this shit, but I think this was the most entertaining.

I do not believe that people are trying to fuck with you, nor do i believe they are out to get you, i believe this because I was once in your shoes, you know thinking everyone was out to get me...then I finally realized...most people, almost all people are significantly less intelligent, less good looking, less witty, and less perfect than me....now I see they just can't help that they are pieces of shit....so ask yourself would you rather be a pig happy living in your own crap? or would you rather be burdened with intelligence and knowing the difference...if you picked the pig...too bad your burdened with common sense instead, live with it ;)

but really being rational and logical can be really difficult when most people we encounter everyday are not, and its especially annoying that our political system caters to them in order to stay ahead....thats why stupid keeps breeding

I feel somewhat like you a lot of the time. I get pretty easily frustrated with things, but over the years I've learned to turn it into fun for me. When I get especially annoyed and feel like I'm being attacked, it's time for me to fight back and try to amuse myself by coming up with the insults to the other people that are funniest to me.

Just be abrasive back to people, but figure out a way to do it and not get into a physical confrontation.

It's been happening a lot to me lately. My cars been fucked up so I've been walking a lot. My gf lives about 7 minutes away (walking distance) and I've been walking to her house a whole lot. It seems that without fail, no matter what time, as I walk to her house someone shouts out the window of their moving car. "Pussy", "Fag", and the rather threatening "I'm going to kick your ass" as they fly by. I don't really get it at all.

People just tend to really suck now-a-days. Or maybe they know something about me that I don't even know. Eh.
