My grand parents met when he was 13, she was 11. They married at 19 and 17. She died about Five years ago. The were married two weeks shy of 66 years when she passed. Lately he sat and looked at her picture. He passed away saturday morning and I believe he went to be with her. He was 90. All the stories about farming with mules and working heavy construction won't be heard anymore. The picture that is to the left was taken as near as we can tell of them in the 1930's. When they were both full of life. Now he has gone to see her and we will all miss him. I have to go get ready for visitation tonight. Thanks for listening.
Sorry for your loss. It sounds like they both had a long and happy life and like you said, they are together again.

Thanks for posting their story. It reminds me how precious love can be and makes me sad that I havent found that special someone like your grandparents did. Rejoice in that they lived a long life together and your grandfather is lonely no more.
