I think the blog section is for when you have something you really want to say, but you don't want anyone to read it.

Buzz Bissinger told me that blogs were bad. And that sports blogs were like some interactive gangbang (http://interactivegangbang.com). He wrote that book that got turned into a show and then canceled on NBC so I listed to him.

Seriously though, isn't a message board more a public type blog and the reason most of us are here outside of Ron and Fez?

I just can't get into blogs unless it's by someone who brings some in-depth knowledge on a specific subject to the table. You know, all the blogs BDC hits.
