People should give al dukes a break

Al Dukes sucks.

If he didn't suck, the show would not be as funny. I can not imagine if the show did not have a weak producer to pick on... So, my vote is to break Al's freakin head... Drop him on it like a watermelon off of a 30 story building.... or maybe just keep him around and still call him a fag.

Anyone who ever listened to the old dot com show, and now listens to the new show, know that there is something weighing down the comedic potential of the show. And that thing IS Al. Ron and Fez are hilarious, but their show was even funnier when their producer worked with them.

I hope they replay a lot of old dot com shows so people can really see how much better the show could even be.

As a side note: Didn't Al say that it was station policy that they don't replay shows which contain members of the staff who are no longer at the station (Dumpy, for example). Yet O and A's repeats will often have members who are no longer their. Who can ever forget the intern who lied about getting in a car accident? What a liar that Al is.

Conclusion: It is easy to hate Al, because he brings down the show we all love so much.

I agree with Lib all the way. Dukes may be a nice guy in life, but on-air and in work he's the boss kiss ass and has slowed the show down considerably since the dot.com shows. Who picked him to replace Dumpy La Presto and can we get baby Sarah's cross-town lover back? Sorry Al, you just need to stand up for the show more and make less excuses. And for god sakes, stand up for yourself and at least attempt to fight back with Joe and others. It's like in the schoolyard in grade school: Simply put up a decent fight and you won't take so much shit. And hell, it may help bring you out of your shell. How's your hand? I can see it already..fight off bc your hand is seriously hurt. Don't go there!

i like al..what i know of him..BUTttt

the first time i called when they were saying i was fake i told him who i was and he was like yeah what do you want. i said..ummmm..do tell you i'm real...oh hold on for 10000 million minutes..okay he didn't say the minutes part but whatever

and i'm also told he just doesn't like some of the girls(or guys) so he just doesn't invite them into the studio anymore.

Al sucks, period. I know this topic is old and tired, but there must be a reason why he causes so much dissention among R&F listeners.

Certainly there are reasons (hidden by management) why he is still on the show. Maybe his departure would embarrass Jeremy Coleman or any other tool that hired him, maybe he has a relative or a Sugar Daddy lover that has WNEW's management wrapped around their finger. Who knows? But what is certain is that he contributes NOTHING for the comedic good of the show, NOTHING!!! When I hear his voice, I turn the radio off. And I know I'm not the only one that does this. Is this what WNEW wants? Do you think they want to LOSE listeners and force R&F into early retirement, or send them to a broke dick AM station?

I know what the past was like, it was very funny and still is, but ONLY when A. Dukes is off the radio.

I've listen to ron and fez when since there first show at wnew. Al dukes brings down the show most of the time and he allows people to just walk over him.

I am sure Mr. Dukes is an honorable man outside of the studio, but when the hours of 7-11 are broadcast from the studios of WNEW, he does not understand the sheer genius of Ronald Bennington and Fezwallider G. Whatley. I wish that in the new year he is given another producing opportunity, possibly the sports guys would be a good one, in the hopes that he will find the radio niche that he wishes for and deserves.
