Philadelphia. Remember Booker's chick? The one who allegedly got into a fight with a NYPD officer back in December but the charges were dropped?

OK. She was fired from her gig as a news anchor on Philly's channel 3.

Well, part of what led up to her getting fired was a leak of emails getting out there, including a deal with Rich Eisen of the NFL Network and his wife.

The leak?

Turned out it was the OTHER anchor, who HACKED HER COMPUTER.

So fired. Career over. HUGE Lawsuits.

What does this even mean!? First, the ratings she and Mendte had were quite good.

She first rose to "notoreity" because of a leak from the Rich Eisen exchange. If the leak was in fact Mendte and not Eisen's wife (and trust me, I have a feeling it's definitely Mendte and not Eisen's wife), that was "strike 1" purely at Mendte's hand. If Mendte hadn't gotten involved, the parties involved would have kept it private.

The cop thing had all charges dropped, which means that it was a lot less salacious than the tabloids made it out to be. You don't hit a cop and skate on it, no matter who you are.

It means that she had this "I'm a fucking reporter" attitude and had previously hocked her personal life on Dr. Phil. Good ratings aside, her behavior would have gotten her fired eventually. She was not liked at all at KYW. It's only so many good ratings trends an unhappy newsroom can take.
