I remember when I was younger one night I woke up out of bed and went into the living room. There is when I saw my parents wrapping up which I think it was an Atari system and some other stuff. From that moment on the myth was over.

My father dropped a train set i was getting when he brought it in from the car on Dec 24. he broke alot of the tracks.
When I opened it ans found the broken tracks my mother explained that Santa had dropped the box.
But my older sister told me that the box had begun to slide off of the sled, Santa went to grab the box before it fell off, and both he and the box fell from the sky. So she was blaming me for Santa's death because he died saving my gift.
Needless to say I went ape$#i+. They told me the truth so i would calm down. Kind of a sucky way to find out.

I never really bought into Santa, actually.

I found the Christmas presents in my basement. They all said "From Santa". I was heartbroken. Ah, the disillusionment of youth.

Brick: the same thing happend to me and after I found the packages I asked my mom whether santa sometimes comes early and she said "no, only on xmas eve" then I knew it was a farse.

It was when i finally had the realization that Santa had the exact same hand writing as my mom. Too much of a coincidence for me. So I asked, and was told the horrible news.

I think the saddest thing is the one friend who still believes when he's WAAAAAY too old, and he has to learn the truth in the school yard because like the fool he was, brings up Santa. That's sad.

It was Easter...

YES EASTER YOU F'S... IT'S NOT A TYPE-O.

My aunt saw the chocolate bunnies we had and she asked my mother where she got them.. I screamed out, "I knew it." I then threw it in my mom's face and I said there is no Easter Bunny, No Tooth Fairy, No Santa Clause."

She told me then... I still won't let my aunt live it down and am looking forward to ruining Christmas for her children.

Just like Tazz, i realized that the handwriting was the same, and the wrapping paper was the same (i guess they stopping putting in so much effort after my older sister figured it out)

on a side note....i used to cover the chocolate chip cookies with pepper, just to F with santa while i still believed...

Some fucking snotnosed fuck in my kindergarden class decided to tell all the kids in the class (most who still believed in santa) that his mom told him santa didn't exist and that kids who did believe were stupid. Went home, asked my mom, and i love her to this day, cause she didn't lie, but she told me the history of the Santa Claus legend. Maybe thata why i'm a histoy buff to this day.

It was when i finally had the realization that Santa had the exact same hand writing as my mom.

Same thing here. Same handwriting, and I finally realized after a few years that Santa would get me a ton of stuff, but I never got anything from my parents.

I was too chicken to ask confirmation, so I just quietly stopped believing.
