I figured out what the skeleton's on Mars are.

It took mankind a couple hundred thousand year to go from ape to man so I figure the same thing happened to the dinosaurs. A species of super intelligent dinosaur evolved to at least the same level of intelligence of man. They figured out an asteroid was coming that would destroy 99% of all life but they couldn't stop it, so they evacuated to Mars. They left a base on the Moon to monitor Earth. When men landed on the Moon, the dinosaurs made contact and negotiated with NASA to keep their existence a secret in exchange for some of their advanced knowledge. NASA and the dinosaurs are working together to this day.

We're through the looking glass now people...
