Actually it's not a flowerpot, it's a liner/pan (depending on the cake size) for a tiered wedding cake. I guess DEVO secured an "image" copyright cuz they can't poossibly copyright something that already has one. & McDonald's is clearly exploiting their image w/out permission, so I wish Devo the best of luck, perhaps this will be a lesson learned for giant corporations stealing from artists!!!

It's an 'homage' to the era and music genre. Who's a better choice for 80's new wave? If they did a pasty white dude with big glasses and a skinny tie would Elvis Costello have a case?

Now if they're openly stealing a song, I'm with ya. If they're using any of these images for the character, I'm with ya. If they're saying "with Devo-like action" or saying the characters wearing an 'energy dome", I'm with ya too.
