This is the kind board, not like our evil counterparts *cough* the OnA Message Board! Just playing other board we got nothing but love for you all.

Thanks for saying I "seem" cool spoon but you can't say that we shut out the new members... we have a few bad apples like other boards but don't form an opinion by a select few. Don't generalize and chastize us all for their words or comments.

We don't call new ppl newbies or form alliances, start talking to some of the members and in time you can get in the loop. It took me a few months but now I finally get noticed. I'm finally meeting them tonight for the first time. Soo just give it time before saying statements like that.

No lying, just an observation and that is all truth until you both responded. Trust me, no alliance to be formed, just some friends to chat with since until now most others have been very myopic. Hopefully your right, as I am a loyal listener and even met some of you cats in person at the Hallow Bar crawl. In person, people can't be so brash and it surely is better. But as you stated, love not hate. Surely I didn't push hate, just frustration with the board at that moment. Both FBP and R/F Mark seem to welcome a ton of the new members and that is really cool. Now if I can only find the big knife!

Next.
Spoon...I have just read all of your posts up to this point on the board, including the book in the "times square" thread.

In no way was anyone that replied after you rude, or mean, or negative in anyway.

There's an issue I noticed that you include the phrases "just kidding" or "No offense, but..." quite often. And until someone knows you well enough, often they probably won't think you're really just kidding. If you went up to someone you didn't know and said something followed up with "just kidding", they probably would say they understood, but really walk away thinking "what the f was that about?"

Also, if you're curious as to how to make sig pics, or make quotes, or anything else like that. Try not to ask the question in the middle of an existing topic about something altogether different. It kinda stops a thread that's rolling if you ask how to make quotes. Especially since the quote button is right there on the reply screen. Try emailing a mod or admin for some assistance if needed, I'm sure they'll help.

I think it's great you've been a loyal listener. R&F are great and the more listeners the better. But calling everyone here except two people myopic isn't very fair or nice. What did you expect exactly? After only about 30 posts people would call you their best friend? I find everyone that posts here to be very friendly, and the "newbie" status has nothing to do with whether someone is cool or not.
Just read through the "NEW MEMBERS SAY HELLO HERE" thread. It's over 4 pages of people with maybe 1 to 5 posts being welcomed. You might have wanted to start there.

So give it some time, and keep posting. And most of all, have fun doing it...that's the point of all this.

I tried the quote and I'm doing something wrong. And as for the book, I was trying to help someone out. You don't have to read it if your not interested in the topic. As for the situation, it involved a thread and I cleared it up with the Heckler and all is cool. It had to do with the topics, where they go and the problems the board has had in the past and Heck thought I was going that way. Wasn't so, but I could see why he thought it may. Heck is a cool guy on and off the show. Technically the whole issue was dead until your post and truthfully you take much out of context. However, I won't argue about it. Fun you say. I'm always in. Just realize that new members can be old listeners and sometimes it's easier to talk to each other as opposed to interupting/bugging more experienced members. Thanks for the Spoon Research Thesis.

No "newbie" is utilized here either. Friends are earned not out of thin air. I think I made alot of friends here and at the party last night I made more. I'm just offering some help. Sorry about the book comment, but man were those some long posts. And yes, I did read them and I know you were offering help.
As far as the quote thing, just paste what you want quoted between the two things that say quote with brackets around them.
I'm glad any misunderstanding was cleared up, and I hope there won't be one between us. Like you, I'm just trying to make some new friends with people that have a common interest.
