I noticed that the divas just shuffle around a lot of the same songs.

And CM Punk's song was originally done for Randy Orton and it was used once before he went back to the other one.

Vince's theme music was originally use for a Royal Rumble.

Linda Mac's music was originally used for a Wrestlemania.

X-pac's theme was originally used for Mike Tyson at a Wrestlemania.

thats all I can think of at this moment.

I believe they briefly gave the theme from one year's Armageddon to Raven. It was the one that was kind of a knock off of The End.

Vince Russo used Iron Man after the Road Warriors were associated with it for many years.

Tyson had his own theme. Linda's music was the WrestleMania theme from 2 thru 13, although a couple in between may not have used it.

Tyson had his own theme.

As I recall, it was strikingly similar to Xpac's music. It's been a LONG time since I have seen it though.

Wasn't X-Pac's theme a remixed version of of the regular DX theme with lyrics specific to him?

Wait, am I sitting here discussing X-Pac's theme music on a Friday night?

ROFL

Yeah it was. Well, like 1/2 the 1st verse, then it's own little rap, then the chorus of "Who's gonna kick your ass?"

God I hated that fucking guy.

Remember when X-Pac used to carry Hansen's energy drink to the ring? That shit tasted like piss.

Then again...Chyna probably did too.

Wow, I just now realize that there's no "fuck" in X-Pac's song.

I always thought it was "I'm not the one to try and fuck with". But it's actually "I'm not the one to try your luck with".

Yeah, I know. I'm interesting.

Wasn't there also a DX theme done by Run DMC? I seem to remember it popping up in an episode of Pimp My Ride many years after the fact.

I love X-Pac; he's the only male alive who I am able to confirm that I have a bigger penis than.

Jerry "The King" Lawlers music was originally used by "King" Harley Race.
(Linger Longer!!)

Ortons second theme (Smackdown) later got re-mixed into the Evolution Theme.

They really were, and so were the wanna-be Beastie Boys who sang them.

That should be flipped around -- The X-Pac theme is a rework of the Tyson theme -- he didn't return to WWF until the Raw after WM14.

Teddy Long's theme is obviously a rework of Rodney Mack's, which is in turn a rework of the Wrestlemania 2000 "California" theme.

"Crank It Up," the old Young Stallions theme was given to anyone who wanted music when working a dark/tryout match.

Supposedly, The Rockers theme is just a sped up version of Warrior's.

Over in WCW, a bunch of heels -- Jake Roberts being one of them -- used the theme that eventually went to The Hollywood Blondes. Of course, there were tons of real song knockoffs too (DDP/Smells like Teen Spirit, Chris Jericho/Evenflow, etc)

DX had two different theme songs. the first I believe was by RUN DMC. Hardly Beastie Boy wanna-beez.

The other was by The Chris Warren Band . Sounds more like a Rage Against the Machine wanna-be band than beasties IMO.
