I'm in Hartford for a conference. This place sucks. I saw a sports bar to get something to eat, but if anyone had some local recommendations, I'm down. Fortunately, I don't have to be here that long. As soon as this deal is over tomorrow at noon, I'm hauling ass to Atlantic City.

There's not a lot of good places in the city itself.

There's a place on the plaza called Spris that we go to for drinks and food. Good bar pizza.

City Steam Brewery is an okay place for watching sports.

Trumbull Kitchen's pretty good.

Max Downtown is good, but Max's Oyster Bar in West Hartford is better.

Bricco in West Hartford is really good too.

There's some good italian places in South Hartord on Franklin Street.

First and Last Tavern on Maple Avenue is a good pizza/pasta joint.

I actually didn't have a chance. I was suckered into free drinks and free dinner, and then I was not sober enough to drive. So I went up to my room and surfed the web. this morning I did my meeting and then hauled ass out of there.
