Anyone know the date of the show where Fezzie first predicted the Leno/Conan debacle? The new Leno show at 10pm started on Sept 14th, so it was obviously before that, but I'm still working on the exact date so I can pull the audio.

I know everybody is giving Fezzie credit for predicting this current turn of events but, in actuality, he was waaay off.
His prediction was that Conan's show would go down in flames in four weeks. He claimed that Conan's show would be canceled in October.

It will be fun to go back and listen to it once it's posted in the library.

Oh, I completely agree that he actually predicted something that could never have happened. But with the money Conan was said to have been promised if he didn't get the spot I never could have fathomed that we would even be close to the position we're in right now. Thinking about that is what lead me to want to go back & see exactly what Fez said just to see how close he was/wasn't.

When I first started listening to the show back in 2006 or 2007, I remember hearing some rejoiner maybe, where it just sounds as if Ron is beating someone up, saying "Come here motherfucker!!!!" over and over, and Fez is just repeating in the background "Oh, I dont like that. I dont like that at all..."

But I digress, I am not a religious nut, in fact I am quite far from the bible quote spewers. In fact since adolescence I've been in a dark place as far as relating to much of anyone else. I do find lots in common with you though and your issues.

Two years ago I witnessed the immediate aftermath of my next door neighbor commit suicide by shooting himself in the head, because my dad and I were the first ones to find him.

Since then, I've had to pick up the broken fragments that I deemed reality in my short adult life and scramble putting them back together and I've only come to two conclusions: Things do happen for a reason, and we will never have the capacity to understand sed reasons, but we can not discredit free will.

Whatever the universe brings to us, or holds from us and why we do, and others do will never 100% make sense to us, well that is just life. Its not what we say or sometimes even think that defines us, its what we do.

I pray this gets to you Fez, your not alone. Both you guys are awesome and as always I will continue to listen to you. I gotta say though, I think Hicks that producer guy or what ever he is is a kind of a shit head.

Someone has to have it. I've been looking for ron bennington stand-up for a while, but haven't started a thread yet because it seems to have been done several times before. That's where the pic of ron giving the finger is from.

Has anyone heard his stand-up? Any ideas about it? Any ideas about why it's hard to find? Maybe it just wasn't his strongest format. Some people do great at improv but have trouble with written material. Is that blasphemy?

Im listening to the stream today and they are playing an old WNEW show. Its a drinking game show. I cant listen to the whole show because I have to leave my office. Al Dukes is tipsy, Sweet Melissa is there playing beer pong and Im hearing promos for the Method Man/Redman movie "How High". Im assuming this is around late 2001? Not sure how many drinking shows they had back in the day.

Hoping someone can help me nail down the date for this show. Miss this era of R&F. So much fun. I wish they could throw bar meet-ups like they use to.
