Actually, Aquaman has been underutilized IMO. His abilities were enumerated near the end of his comic run around 2000.

The coolest thing is the use of his telepathy, which is low-level but still effective. It obviously works on fish because their brains aren't as complex, but Aquaman can also use it on humans; he contacts the oldest, most base part of the brain/psyche and will mess with you while fighting.

He's a much better character than people give him credit for and would be more popular if given a fair shake (and good writers).
