Can anyone even list a few Daltrey solo works ?
UNDER A RAGING MOON
The list Ron's using is "rock" bassists Jaco isnt considered rock.
http://digitaldreamdoor.nutsie.com/pages/best_bassguitar.html
Thanks! I didn't know it was just roack
Just to back Dave up a little bit... Duff may not be anywhere near the best rock bass player of all time, but he was definitely "showcased" in Guns n Roses... his bassline at the beginning of Sweet Child O' Mine is almost as recognizable as Slash's guitar riff.
QFT
What about Justin Chancellor from Tool? or Hiro Yamamoto from Soundgarden?

I disagree that all the hype behind Dark Knight is the "ghoulish" interest in Heath Ledger's death. It sure a big part of it, but the fact that his performance is so great, and that the movie is supposed to be great plays a huge part of it.

One of the issues with this deal is that you can only use the money for consumption. So you can't even invest the money and earn off of it.
So while $800k sounds great right now for ESD, in 30 years, it's going to be a lot less.

800,000$ is nothing.
There are dozens of stories about people winning the lottery, getting 2-3 million and thinking they've made it. They retire and are broke in 10 years.
I would need at least 200 million to live comfortably for the rest of my life, and a couple billion to truly not want for money. Admittedly, I wouldn't be able to do charity stuff, or anything productive, which would have been my original goal, if I ever had that kind of money, but still. I think I can manage through the rest of my existence enjoying chicks, TV, movies, video games and travel.
