Yeah, but the baby came about 1am. They are calling it a "sick day" but it is likely more of a personal day.

If he was in the hospital for hours waiting for a baby then it was born and they were celebrating, Ant would be in no shape to do a radio show (based on his difficulties with being over-tired in the past).

If it was just to spend time with Jill, I would certainly be pissed.

However, illness is a good excuse and nobody should have a problem with that.

I find it pretty annoying if a sick radio personality is 'toughing it out' and talking on-air. Especially through headphones.

I hate to say it, but I have really liked the shows starring just Opie & Jimmy that have been on lately. Somehow they seem to be more fresh and relaxed; maybe because they are more aware of what they are doing and concentrating on the show a little more since the normal, three-person chemistry isn't there.

Apparently Ronny was peeved because no-one had ASKED him to make the announcement.I guess there's some protocol for that stuff,and I'm guessing that it's for very good reasons that the protocol exists.But,Yeah Cumia is rcking up the UNCLE again points,since Brother Joe and wife had their kid recently.I had a rich uncle once.He gave me 5 bucks for an "A" on my report card. 1960's. :thumbup:

I really wish sometimes the comedians, especially Kelly and Vos, would tone down the whole thing of bashing each other. It's fine at times, but sometimes I get the feeling they aren't having conversations so much to talk about a subject as they are to find material to bash each other with.

I might have agreed in past shows. I thought he was pretty entertaining in the last hour of XM today, he fit in nice when he was fuckin with that p-noid dude and got off some good lines. He's OK.

i like mike birbiglia (and on the show), and no one is/was as distracting as godfrey last friday ... the loud, forced laughter punctuating every sentence was really off-putting
