Sandman Arrested

Just saw this in Dave Meltzer's update today:

James "Sandman" Fullington was arrested last night at the La Lanterna restaurant in Yonkers for throwing glasses at employees of the restaurant. When officers arrived, he started throwing glasses at them and two officers suffered cuts on the hands and arms. He was subdued and charged with second degree assault, a felony, third degree criminal mischief, also a felony, second degree reckless endargement and resisting arrest. He was taken to jail for psychiatric evaluation. According to an eye witness, police pulled guns on him in the incident at the birthday party for Louis Albano (the one and the same). Fullington was bleeding badly as the owner of the restaurant to try and subdue him threw a beer bottle which hit Fullington in the face.

Flying glasses, beer bottle, and drawn guns? If there was no chant of "E-C-DUB!" while this went down, I will be sorely disappointed.

Huge reaction for Sandman there, i know he expected more.

And that zombie was more coherent than the Ultimate Warrior ever was.

I don't know anything about this Sandman guy but I can tell you about the restaurant, La Laterna. It is in my neck of the woods, a nice little Italian place with a big patio for al fresco dining when the weather permits. I usually go there 5-6 times a year so I'm sorry I missed these hijinks although I suspect it was a private party for Ol' Captain Lou.

If you go I would recommend the gnocchi or the rack of lamb. And not throwing glasses at people.

found a news report that has footage of sandman's brawl. He looks like he has a good buzz going. I like how he got it in his head he needed to stand on the table. Maybe he was gonna do a moonsault to celebrate :drunk:

i was at an independent show when i was 17 and the sandman came out with a pitcher of beer...

he stood on a chair next to me and poured it into my mouth... good times had by all...
and, for how drunk he is it's amazing he had the balance to stand on the table, let alone throw glasses and bottles & hit people

Poor Sandman. Anyone see a youtube clip of the Sandman doing an interview (for a wrestling radio show/hotline) where he was plastered and forgetting what he was talking about?
