So since I live in a huge swing state (ohio) the ads for both McCain and Obama have been running pretty much every other commercial break because of the importance of the state in teh upcoming election .

So do the states you all are in have the same thing happening. I know my brother told me that they dont get anything as far as ads because Maryland always votes Democrat in presidential elections

So im just curious whats it like in the areas you live

As someone who lived in ohio up until june and is now back in indy the difference is huge. Ohioans are bombarded with those ads.

When I lived in DC the GOP didn't even bother. There's no way in hell they'd ever vote for a Republican.

Virginia used to be a lock for the GOP. But ever since Mark Warner and Jim Webb won their races, it's become a lot more up for grabs here.

Ya know, now that you mention it... I havent seen any at all.

I have tivo, and normally ff past commercials, but I usually know what I'm speeding through.

Of course, I live in NYC, where the democrat lever is just blindly pulled no matter what.
