And i'm with Ronnie, anyplace with a jar I throw in a tip. Chipotle, etc... I tip a buck a drink, even if i'm drinking a dollar beer. I tip carryout places, even when i'm picking it up myself and not getting the food delivered.

Here in PA, we pump our own gas. Unlike Jersey where you sit on the Turnpike on the way back from Atlantic City, waiting for some high school dropout to eventually pump your gas. Took me 25 minutes to get gas and get out of there. Then he bitched that I wanted to use a credit card to pay. Tip? You gotta be kidding me.

But you can't see the similarity between those two lines of logic? The caller raised the issue of approval rating of Obama in Israel. In response you bring up Obama's rating versus Lieberman, who no one else was talking about. Why wouldn't you bring up his rating in comparison to McCain's (his actual opponent)? It's bringing Lieberman's religion to the fore, much the sames as the people in your 'c' response are bringing Rice's race to the fore as important.
