View Full Version : Finding a Spot
Living in the Boogie Down with its opposite-side parking rules, I'm often in search of a spot. If I'm driving with Arienette and we see somebody walking, she'll want me to ask them if they're leaving so that we can grab their spot. I refuse as I think it's too stalkerish. What do you guys think?

Who's Arienette?
Anyway, no, it's not stalkerish. I've done it a few times in areas where there's congested parking. You're not asking someone for a date or flirting with them, it's just human decency. Maybe being in the Bronx is a little more scary than being in suburban Jersey, but still, it's not like you're trying to jack someone asking them if they're getting out of a spot.

Luckily for Arienette, I was wrong about the meaning of the thread title.

It's better to ask rather than just following behind the person until they get to their spot. That's really annoying.
