So I got sent into the prize closet today, left my number and was told I would get a call after the show to take care of things. I'm a little curious as to what the time frame is in getting called back and if anybody knows what sort of prize I have to look forward to?

If you don't hear back by tomorrow, I would call the number again and remind them that they never got back to you. I think most of the prize closet prizes are DVDs and CDs.

I got a copy of Sweeney Todd when I called in and nervously stammered through a couple of sentences one time. It was ghastly but a rather good prize all the same.

I've been sent to the closet a few times since the boys came to XM, and've gotten a T-shirt + mouse pad combo, a Moby CD, and some killer DVD's - The Simpsons Season 7, a Hearts of Darkness Coppola documentary, the movie Black Snake Moan... and then a book that a guest of the show had given to Earl - it still has the personal letter the guy wrote to him tucked inside the front cover! (Must be from when Ron made Earl clean up his desk.)

When Pittzy was there, he always was pretty good at getting back to me same day, and then sending stuff out - Gras was on top of things too. But like Mikey said, if you don't hear back by tomorrow, give them a call and a gentle reminder...

I don't feel bad about what I do, even to myself. I did it my first time calling into O&A, did it my first time today with R&F. No biggee.

I just have tons of old computer equipment, like thumb drives and stuff, and DVD's i don't really need. Just curious.

back in the JFK days i called in with a story about picking up a hitchhiker who had a Lb. of red bud on him and how we got high driving this guy all the way to Pa from. Md. i won a trip to greenville, SC to the BMW test track, airfare, rental car and hotel. They were nothing but cool! i tried to get to the fairfax studios to personally thank them but they left for NY.

I went to the Big Ass Prize Closet on Monday.

I called in to bring up Morgan Freeman's accident for an ichiban.
As Ron was saying "Big Ass Prize Closet" I hung up.
I called back and talked to Scruffy who screened my original call.
He said I could get my prize. He took my number and called me back at 3:00 to get my address.

Today I got my Replacements CD sent to my office via DHL.

I guess my point is if it's been more than a few days contact the show.
But my bigger point is bravo to Scruffy Face who handled the situation extremely well and seems like a great guy.

Thanks to Babyface who PMed me and got my info, I ended up with Stop Loss, I plan on watching it tonight.

I got in again today and hopefully I get something else I'm interested, still waiting for the call but anytime I can help out the buddy's it's worth it, regardless of prize.

I have been wondering about the "big ass prize closet" for a while now. I know that it probably came onto the show way back in the day when they introduced the "big ass cards". I was wondering if anyone knew the history behind it?

I have been wondering if the "big ass" was referring to an actual "large butt" or if it was a size reference like "huge". It sounds like it is a size reference, but with ron and fez it could easily be an inside joke about having a giant ass too. :)

I realize this is a stupid question but every time they send someone to the big ass prize closet I laugh a little and wonder. Anyone have a clue?

i believe it was pepper who called me

i did however go into the prize closet last year when fezzie cried but never recieved anything in the mail.
